Heat up V-day with Warm Red Lips

Red lips are iconic and reference power, sophistication and old Hollywood sex appeal. I believe every woman can rock a red lip. There are a few things to remember:

Let me explain-when the rest of the face is fresh and natural, it  keeps the look from going over the top.

 

Define your eyes with neutral eyeshadow. With bold lips, I like to keep eye liner only on the top lash line. Highlight your brow bones and the inner corners of the eyes.
 

Try lining the water line of your lower lids with a white or flesh coloured creamy pencil. This trick will make your eyes appear larger.
 

Another tip: for fuller looking lips, is to highlight the cupid's bow, the "V" of your upper lip.

 

3. Always wear blush with red lips, especially if you are fair, as it drains the colour from your face-

Something needs to be on the cheeks so you look alive.

 

If you choose a warm red, stay away from baby pink shades of blush.You can always apply the lipstick shade with your fingers, patting the colour into your cheeks and up towards your temples.
