How to Choose Your Wedding Day Makeup

http://www.facetimemakeup.com/

Your wedding day is not the time to experiment- planning and decisiveness are key. Stick to what you know. For many brides who have started bridal beauty pinterest boards with a ton of different looks, trying to decide what to try, take it from me, giving yourself limitless options is a hindrance. If you already wear makeup on a daily basis, tell your makeup artist what you wear, what you like best about your face, and what you do not like (personally I hate wearing lipstick).

Here are three categories that cover a wide range of looks, which one do you fall into?

1. Pop of Colour

This category includes any look with a red/coral/pink/dark lip. If you have a picture of a red lip and smokey eyes look, it's time to re-evaluate. Even though this look is achievable, why risk it for your wedding day? Think classic.

Want a bright colour on the eyes- great. Keep everything else on your face defined, pretty and modern.

2. No-Makeup/Signature Look

The "no-makeup" look is a great go-to for gals who rarely wear a drop. It's "you but better" makeup that is enhancing and beautifying.

Signature look is what you wear all the time, your go-to look that you feel most confident in. If that means you like a bronzed look, and it suits your skin tone then go for it. Whether you are doing this look yourself, or hiring an artist to do this look for you, take extra care and time to perfect your makeup so you can be the best version of yourself.

3. Smokey Eyes

Smokey eyes is the most requested look. Opt for a look that makes the most of your eye shape. Smokey doesn't necessarily mean black, so remember that you have many options.

The last tip I can impart is to remember that with most weddings there is some kind of photography involved. Take that to heart and heed the advice given by your beauty gurus!
