Get the Look: DIY Emma Watson

Emma looks fresh and ready for spring in this youthful day look. The key to this look is her flawless skin, which looks polished and clean without too much bronzer or highlight and contour. Her features look natural but better- defined eye brows slightly filled in, thick dark lashes, and matte lips filled in but not over drawn. A little bit of shimmer is used on the eyes, but not too much. When makeup is applied in this way, it becomes seamless on the face, simply enhancing but not distracting from one's beauty. This is how everyone should strive to do their makeup.

Here are some tips to get you the Emma Watson "natural but better" look:
  • Find a lip pencil that matches your lips exactly. Use soft, feathery strokes around the lip line to enhance your lips. Do correctins if necessary, but stick to what God gave you. Keeping the lip liner soft and feathery will keep the lips from looking penciled in.
  • Invest in a good foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. SOmething with a bit of luminosity will work in your favour, especially if you are over 30!
  • Concealer is your best friend. Pin point conceal any blemishes and take your time. Spend the most time on your skin for this look.
  • Brows are filled in but only where you need it. Keep brushing them through to avoid over doing it.
  • Feel free to go for false lashes, Emma is wearing them in this look. line your upper water line with black gel liner. Work it into the roots of the lashes, so a defined line does not appear, but just thicker roots.
