First Impressions & Review: Estee Lauder DoubleWear Stay In Place Foundation

Packaging
The frosted glass bottle and gold cap look great on your vanity or makeup table. The heavyness of the bottle also makes it feel luxurious. I wish this came with a pump though, as it can get messy pouring out onto the back of your hand. I wish they did a squeeze tube of this foundation, but the formula is so good, I will excuse these minor imperfections!

Size
The bottle is 1 fluid ounce, which is standard for most high end foundations. It retails for $44 CAD on sephora.com.

What You Get (And Don't!)
This product does everything it says on the bottle. It is lightweight, buildable and long lasting. It looks like a second skin, but has medium to full coverage. You can sheer it out with some MAC Fix+ spritzed onto your brush, or go in with your fingers. This foundation also sets, so you do not need to powder (great for dry skin girls). The colour range is amazing with 30 shades.

After Using It A While...
The more I use this foundation the more I love it.  I assumed that this foundation would be really heavy and cakey but it is quite the opposite- sheer and skin-like in texture it glides so easily onto the skin. This would be a great pick for hot climates or if you are going to be outside all day in the sun and want your makeup to last- also (no-brainer) it is perfect for brides.

Repurchase?
Yes- this foundation has become the new star of my pro kit. I will definitely be repurchasing more shades.
